Inspired by this truth and deeply influenced by the teachings of Nonviolent Communication (NVC), I have discovered a profound new dimension in the way I approach connection—both personally and professionally. Since embracing NVC in 2019, it has become a cornerstone of my work as a General Practitioner, shaping every interaction with greater empathy, presence, and understanding.

NVC has transformed the way I relate to patients, colleagues, family, and friends, helping me cultivate authentic relationships and meaningful connection. It continually reminds me that beneath our different stories, opinions, and experiences lies a shared humanity waiting to be heard.

I am passionate about bringing NVC into healthcare, particularly within NHS settings, GP practices, and among frontline clinicians. My work is inspired by the profound impact of being truly heard—the moment when a person's shoulders soften, their eyes brighten, and connection becomes possible. In those moments, I often glimpse what Marshall Rosenberg called the "Beloved Divine Energy" that connects us all.

Alongside a dedicated community of NVC practitioners, I co-facilitate a monthly study group exploring sacred texts through the lens of NVC. Together, we uncover the timeless wisdom, compassion, and life energy within these writings, enriching both our practice and our understanding of human connection.
